Our story
Since 1974, one family, one standard.
The Burrell journey into McDonald's began in 1974, when Paul Burrell opened his first restaurant in Franklin, Kentucky alongside his father, Jim Burrell.
Today Paul's children — Alex, Michael and Kelsey — are third-generation owner/operators. Every one of them started in the restaurants as crew and learned the business the same way our managers do.
